MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) – Flax has been harvested on 16,600 hectares or 37.4% of land underneath flax, the Agriculture and Meals Ministry informed BelTA.
As of 26 July, Belarusian agricultural employees harvested cereals and leguminous crops (excluding maize, buckwheat and millet) on greater than 184,300 hectares, or 8.61% of the realm. Harvesting was accomplished on 21.9% of the focused space in Brest Oblast (75,800 hectares), 11% in Gomel Oblast (38,300 hectares), 8.59% in Grodno Oblast (26,200 hectares), 8.17% in Minsk Oblast (36,700 hectares).
All in all, 740,800 tonnes of grain have been threshed in Belarus, with the typical yield at 40.2 centners per hectare. Winter barley was harvested from 56,300 hectares of land (94.5% of the designated space), with 290,700 tonnes threshed (the typical yield stood at 51.6 centners per hectare). Malt barley was harvested from 7,020 hectares of land (12.9% of the plan), with 27,600 tonnes threshed and the typical yield at 39.3 centners per hectare. Winter rapeseed was gathered in from 102,000 hectares of land or 33.1% of the focused space, with 241,300 tonnes threshed and the typical yield at 23.7 centners per hectare. Straw was cleared from the realm of 104,800 hectares (56.9% of what was lower).
